Timber Chopping, Cheese, Serving or Charcuterie boards

from £50.00

My Chopping/cheese/ charcuterie serving boards are simply designed to be two sided, instead of a finger pull or cut out, they have a small chamfer round the edge allowing a space to grip and lift off any surface.

As they are two sided and have no feet care is needed when using as a chopping board, laying the board on a cloth or tea towel to prevent slipping or movement might be necessary. The different species of timber offer different decorative looks and differing characteristics in use. The softer the timber the less suitable as a chopping or or the faster it will show wear with knife marks.

Oak: An all round board with many uses

‍ Walnut: More decorative, softer timber, best as a display, serving or charcuterie board

Cherry: Softest of all the timbers not the most suitable as a chopping board

My boards are given many coats of a food safe mineral oil if your board starts to show signs of wear it can simply be re-coated also doing this periodically along will keep your board looking beautiful for many years.
